Date selection

Date selection compares candidate dates for a specific activity within a range you choose. Describe the activity and participants, then review the traditional-calendar references and explanations.

Set up a search

  1. Open Choose a date under Decision tools in the conversation sidebar.
  2. Choose an activity, such as travel, moving home or an important arrangement, from the available options.
  3. Select participants, using saved people where relevant.
  4. Confirm the start date and range, then review the cost before starting.

Choose a range you can actually use. Work commitments, transport, health, other people's agreement and practical availability all remain important.

Compare the results

The result presents candidate dates with explanations. Compare alternatives before opening a particular date. If you want to understand a reason more clearly, continue the discussion associated with that date.

Date selection is a cultural reference. It does not guarantee success on one date or make action impossible on another. Urgent healthcare, safety needs and legal deadlines should be handled according to their real requirements.

Revisit an existing result

Open a saved selection from its history. Continuing its conversation keeps the related activity and date context. Start a new selection only when you want a new comparison.

Opening an existing result and generating another one are different operations. If an old result cannot be found, first check its history rather than immediately generating a replacement.
